The Vocational Training Council (VTC), established in 1982, is the largest vocational and professional education and training institution in Hong Kong. Offering a wide range of accredited programs, VTC provides valuable opportunities to learners of all ages and backgrounds. With a strong emphasis on practical skills, hands-on experience, and real-world results, VTC equips learners with both knowledge and action-oriented competencies. It serves around 200,000 students annually through comprehensive pre-employment and in-service training, awarding internationally recognized qualifications.

The 2022 VTC Honorary Fellowship Conferment Ceremony was held on September 28, 2022, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Mr. Robert Lai, Managing Director of Pro-Technic Machinery Group, was awarded the VTC Honorary Fellowship.

Mr. Lai has been a dedicated supporter of vocational education and the work of VTC. As an active industry partner of the VTC STEM Education Centre, Pro-Technic Machinery Ltd. generously donated three professional-grade 3D printers to promote STEM education and foster knowledge exchange between the industry and academia. These printers allow students to experience firsthand how imaginative designs can be brought to life through 3D printing, sparking greater interest in STEM and helping equip students with the technological skills needed for future smart cities.

For many consecutive years, Pro-Technic Machinery Ltd. has contributed to the VTC Outstanding Industrial Attachment Scholarships and the VTC Design Education Fund.
